It was a long week and weekend but I am alive and back in Missouri. We headed down late Tuesday night after we loaded the LSX Willys Jeep as well as my bike and we trucked through the night to arrive in Dallas Wednesday for lunch and the Gas Monkey Bar & Grill. Pretty cool place and some good food to boot! We waited until 1:00 for Josh from Gas Monkey to go on lunch and we headed to the shop after we picked him up some Mc Donald's. They entire crew was there and they were just finishing filming a bit with Aaron on a new project.
The shop is pretty cool and I was happy that it is first and foremost a shop and not a studio. Real deal projects going on.
Below is the Falcon from last nights episode:
The first car that Aaron and Richard did 13 years ago I believe:
Josh's LS powered NASCAR truck....soon to be on the streets! Sounds ridiculous!
One of Aarons cars to the left, cool build but I don't want to post details.
These next three pics all go together. All are on bags and lay frame. The custom truck hauls the custom trailer which carries the custom bike. All built in house by Aaron. Amazing engineering. The guy is a genius!
Some F-100s they fix up and flip:
The infamous Shelby clone, this thing had fun written all over it. Killer system in it with Real Big on repeat!
After the tour we hung out for a few and decided to get the Jeep off the trailer and do some burnouts:
After we got the techs in trouble for not working we loaded back up but Richard came out to shoot the shit. He is a busy guy so this was very cool of him to do!
Back on the road for 4 hours and we made it to Houston and got settled in. The next day I took some pics of random cars at the Mariot Hotel: Harris Lue bait!
The infamous Fairmont with a turbocharged LS
Just a couple street cars with chutes' ...no biggie
C6Z with ITBs and direct port nitrous!!
Crown Vic with a 5.3 and a turbo!
That night we found some races around Houston and made it a late night. Lots of driving and hauling different people around. NX guys are really cool!
The next day we made our way to Hennessey for the dyno day. I didn't take many pics but did of some things that caught my eye. EL_ULY bait:
One of the cleanest builds I have ever seen!!
More Harris Lue bait!
As I was walking around this beast pulled up. Apparently this Atom makes 700 wheel!!! First Atom I have ever seen and now no other one will be as cool.
Random shirt
Super clean Duster making the donkey power!
2JZ RX7:
The now famous 4G63 Mustang...love this thing!
On Friday night we brought the Jeep to the dig event which was a sketch fest to say the least. Cars sliding everywhere and the crowd only 8 feet from the track with no retaining wall. The Jeep never ran but I am sure it would have done well.
I have videos of different parts of the trip but it takes too long to load. We left here and watched a bunch of roll racing on I-10.
Saturday was uneventful as it rained all day but we all still had fun on some pit bikes and motorized bar stools. We left early Sunday to make it to Missouri and were greated by rain and crazy wind the whole way. The wind actually pushed the trailer into a curb causing a blowout and bent rim! A quick change put us back on our way and we made it home. It was a fun weekend and I look forward to next year! Can't wait for the Texas Streets DVD!

For sure, this thing has gone 9.2 at the track.

Not to sound like a fan boy.. But I fucking love your jeep. Ever since I saw it on 1320 I've wanted to build something similar.
Also, love the pictures and the cars. I'm hoping to make it to TX2K next year to just ride along with whoever in whatever.

Lol it is not my Jeep. My group of friends and the owner drove down and we hauled his Jeep to do him a favor.

Either way. It's a badass piece of machinery in all of its procharged glory.
